I refused as they touched my car last and now this issue. They tried to charge me $65 to do a diagnostic. I tool it back to the dealership the very next morning on my way to work. After I left, about 30 minutes later, my dash warning lights came on with 4 indicators all at once: ABS, TPMS, Electric Power Steering, and Traction Control shut off. Update from : I forgot to mention that my Honda had also experienced the abrupt stopping even when there was nothing in the road.Ī Honda dealership performed an oil change on my car Thursday evening, April 25, 2019. Maybe, it's about time that Honda Accord owners should fix this problem by bounding together so that somebody will notice this problem and have it fix (Like the government agency or law offices for filing a class action suit). I've been researching this problem for a few days, and found out that the only case filed with regard to this problem of Honda Sensing is for Honda CRV. Why the heck should I pay for extended warranty and not be covered by it and then spent more money for my deductible. Passing the problem to the insurance company will cost extra expense to the car owners in this case, like, for example, in my case, my deductible is $1,000. Now, that's not the right thing to happen, the computer that control these things are well hidden inside the engine bay of the car and I had no accident, maybe, the same is true with the other Honda car owners that's experiencing this problem. However, when I brought the car to my Honda dealer to have it fixed, the dealer was telling me that there was an accident that was affecting the computer and the cost to repair is $3,500 and that I should contact my insurance as it was a covered accident, as they say. My car is less than 5 years old and I have an extended warranty (8 years in total) for which I paid a fortune in my case. At 66t plus miles, these problems with the above systems started to show up intermittently. I am a Toyota Car Guy, for that I made a mistake of trying a Honda with this features. You guys know how big of a freak out and stressful scenario this is.This problems particularly the RDMS (Road Departure Mitigation System, CMBS CCollision Mitigation Brake System), LKAS (Lane Keeping Assist System), and ACC (Adoptive Cruise Control) had been in existence since the early part that Honda added this features in their vehicle as can be seen in the complaint page of every site. I went to get into my car go to work and it start and shut off. With mine, I was installing new backup lights that were LED some guy said was compatible plug and play with my vehicle, when obviously it exceeded the amount the fuse allowed and they were not compatible. Sure enough it's not #10, but it's #5 fuse on the driver side fuse box. Just now I was about to give up I find this. I did the same thing that you guys all did check the main fuse underneath the hood fuse box first and I was about to give up after checking the passenger side fuse box thinking it was a relay or a module or short. So just wanted to throw this up on the forum that it is the same thing with the Honda Accord 2008 to 2012 ex-l V6 model. I wish there was some way I could repay you guys for the headache and a lottttt of money, because the closest dealership is a 1.75 hour tow!! If I wouldn't have found this forum after hours of browsing the internet trying to find an answer, talking to multiple dealership tech Representatives, it was you guys who gave me the right answer. Click to expand.I have a 2008 Honda Accord, same thing guys.
